Freddy Lopez

As a member of the committee, I have a strong desire to see Local Impact continue to effect positive change in the community.

My commercial background allows me to focus my attention on Local Impact’s long-term strategy by engaging in investment discussions and listening and providing feedback on items brought before the board.

I am a Fellow Certified Practising Accountant with experience gained across diverse ASX listed organisations. My expertise spans operational and commercial finance roles. Specific strengths include business development, improving operational performance, developing and executing strategy and building strong teams. I currently work in the health sector as a Senior Operations Manager, having worked previously in the industrial, mining and education industries.

My connection with local football is one that I bring with me to Local Impact. I still enjoy playing the game and am proud to have been awarded life membership at West Footscray Football Club. My interests also include sustainability, particularly around re-using items so they do not end up as land fill, and minimising green waste in practical ways, such as through composting.
