The Money Mentor program has received a grant Victorian Government’s West Gate Neighbourhood Fund!

Thanks to this funding, the Money Mentor team will be collaborating with Yarraville Community Centre to co-design and deliver the program across four workshops for the inner west community in 2025.

The Money Mentor program exists to increase financial literacy in the community so that individuals can make informed decisions about money, while building confidence and independence.

The support from the West Gate Neighbourhood Fund and West Gate Tunnel Project will help increase financial literacy among people who might not otherwise have access to information about key financial concepts – including budgeting, superannuation and interest.

The workshop series’ co-design will tailor all content to the community context of the Yarraville Community Centre.
