Gather for Good event a great success!
On Wednesday 13 November, Local Impact and Community Bank Seddon presented the Gather for Good Event at Footscray Community Arts.
The room was full of do-ers, ideas, local leaders in social enterprise sharing lived experience, resources, the highs, the lows. The importance of storytelling and building your network to learn, grow and succeed.
“The whole session was fabulous! Everyone clearly knows their stuff and is passionate about their endeavours. Speakers were great, stuck to time and made a whole lot of sense.” Said by attendee at our Gather for Good Event.
Local Impact shared how we offer a wrap-around service of support and are able to connect social enterprises with the right people, ‘doing good’ in our thriving inner-west community.
The MC Sarah Franklyn from Community Bank Seddon said it perfectly at our Gather for Good Event “Social Enterprise is the way forward, it’s where social change is going to happen!” But it takes all 4 sectors to come together to make that change. The incubators, impact funders, enables & social enterprises to build connection and collaboration. Local Impact is a supportive incubator.
