For over ten years, Rodney has been instrumental in supporting a number of community based organisations that focus on giving back to the City of Maribyrnong community. He founded Footscray’s Community Bike Hub, a not-for-profit organisation that repairs donated bicycles for those in need, reducing the amount of bikes going in to landfill. Rodney's years of work with Footscray Rotary have also seen a greater number of members from diverse backgrounds taking up executive positions in the organisation.

Ally Pekin is the Grants and Office Manager at the Melbourne-based Jack Brockhoff Foundation. With over 15 years of experience in the philanthropic and not-for-profit sectors, she manages the foundation's strategic initiatives and grants.

Ferdi has forged a successful career in the social impact space by remaining optimistic that bringing the best of the business and community together-coupled with the right funding-will change the world we live in for the better. She has worked across the corporate, non-profit and philanthropic sides of the social sector over 20 years.

Before taking up her current position leading the William Buckland Foundation at Equity Trustees, she held leadership roles at Social Ventures Australia and Children’s Ground where she developed and implemented social investment, communications and partnerships strategies. Ferdi also spent 13 years in a global professional services firm PwC, engaging the firm and its employees in social investment and corporate responsibility initiatives.

Kerry is an experienced Executive and Leader in the not-for-profit sector, bringing over 20 years of expertise in philanthropy, international development, and place-based community development. Kerry has a proven track record in managing complex, multi-sector programs and cultivating strong collaborative relationships and multi-stakeholder engagement. Passionate about driving positive community change through innovative program design and rigorous evaluation, continuously seeking and implementing novel ideas, unique partnerships, and transformative approaches that challenge the status quo.

A lifetime of living and working in Melbourne’s west has given Ashley a deep knowledge of the strengths, needs and potential of this community. This knowledge, along with his interest in the environment and sustainability, are what motivates his involvement with Local Impact. Ashley believe that healthy environments and social connectedness positively impact our mental and physical wellness.
