Building a website for The Venny
“We are so happy with the website that Local Impact built for us. Jean was fantastic to work with and incredibly responsive. She kept us informed throughout the build with regular updates and opportunities to provide feedback. This ensured that the end product was exactly what we wanted.
Building a website is not something that you do every day, so engaging an expert who took the time to get to know us and understand us as an organisation was key. We’ve had great feedback from our community on the site — it’s easy to navigate, information is clear and it can be viewed in multiple languages.”
— The Venny
The Venny provides free play spaces for children across Melbourne’s inner north and west, working with families from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. When Local Impact got a briefing for the new website, we understood the brief went beyond a digital build — it was about authentically representing their community and making sure every visitor could find what they needed, regardless of language or digital confidence.
Working closely with The Venny team, Local Impact designed and built an accessible, mobile-friendly WordPress site that can be viewed in multiple languages, alongside a professional photo library capturing the real energy and diversity of their programs. Design, development, photography, training and handover were all delivered within budget.
It was a privilege to have been selected to deliver the new site and a delight to collaborate with The Venny on this project.
